Below are links to the three different surveys: Educator, Parent, and Community Member.  Please fill out the survey(s) most applicable to you.

Gilchrist Elementary School is a rural school which serves as the focal point for the local community. Built in 1984, the aesthetically pleasing facility is home to 125 students in grades K-6. Bolstered by an active PTO, a highly committed staff focuses instructional efforts upon the development of skills that will enable students to become self-directed lifelong learners and productive citizens. The computer lab and library were completely remodeled during the summer of 2006. SMART Boards have been installed in most classrooms to provide our students with up-to-date technological enhancements to support classroom instruction. Current school-wide initiatives aimed at increasing student achievement include implementation of Professional Learning Communities, a team approach to Guided Reading, an Extended Day Learning Program, Quarterly Student Recognition Assemblies, and emphasis upon the Six Traits of Writing.
